Associate Professor in Fine Art


Introduction

 

I have been working in education and the creative industries as an artist, lecturer and researcher for over 20 years.  As an artist I work across disciplines including sound, performance/live art, art-writing, digital video, and installation, and as a musician have recorded and toured nationally and internationally.

 

In education I have worked in colleges and universities where, for the past 20 years, I have written and led programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  My experience spans the arts, including departmental leadership and management where I have overseen the writing and validation of undergraduate degree courses and have had responsibility for higher education quality and standards.
